Antalya Airport (AYT) is the busiest airport on the Mediterranean coast and the third largest in Turkey. Located 13 km east of Antalya, it serves over 100 international destinations and major cities across Turkey. Airlines such as Turkish Airlines, Pegasus, SunExpress, and Corendon use Antalya as a hub. Seasonal charter and international carriers including Lufthansa, Qatar Airways, Ryanair, Wizz Air, and British Airways also operate here. The airport handles over 1,000 daily flights in summer with routes to cities across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
Parking Facilities
Antalya Airport offers 9,300 indoor and outdoor parking spaces for private, commercial, and rental vehicles. Short-term parking is a 2-3 minute walk from the Domestic Terminal and allows parking up to 3 hours. Long-term parking is a 10 minute walk from the International Terminal with a free shuttle service. The international car park, opposite the terminal, supports both short- and long-term stays. Designated disabled parking and valet services are available at both terminals.
Transit Options
- Buses: Antalya Metropolitan Municipality bus lines numbered 600 and 800 provide direct transportation from the airport to the city centre. Line 600 runs on the route Antalya Airport - Otogar - 5M Migros. The journey time is approximately 45-60 minutes. Line 800 runs on the route Lara - City Centre - Antalya Airport. Buses operate between 05:00 - 22:00. Payment is made with AntalyaKart.
- Taxi There are taxis serving 24/7 at Antalya Airport terminal exits. It takes approximately 20-25 minutes to get to the city centre by taxi depending on the traffic. The average taxi fare to the city centre is 250-300₺. It costs 500-600₺ to go to Belek from the airport by taxi. Airport, Side taxi fare is 800₺ on average. Fares may vary during peak summer seasons.
- Car Hire: Many international and local car hire companies serve at Antalya Airport.
